We recently completed the installation of two new Zinc roofs. The installation process involved removing rusted roof sheets, gutters, downpipes, flashings, whirlybirds, and capping around the roofs. We then supplied and installed new gutters and downpipes, and added new roof insulation to reduce both conductive and convective heat flow. After that, we installed new roof sheets in a Corrugated profile, along with new flashings and capping around the roof. In order to protect the new whirlybirds, we installed metal trays around them. Finally, we applied a special waterproof membrane to the chimneys to prolong their life.
